About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at E.A.M Enterprise Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules

You will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient methods to meet our work schedules, ensuring that our staff are well-trained and equipped to handle the demands of our fast-paced environment.

Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff

You will oversee the activities of our staff, including food service counter attendants and food preparers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.

Train Staff in Job Duties and Safety Procedures

You will be responsible for training our staff in their job duties, as well as ensuring that they are aware of and follow our safety procedures.

Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required

You will be responsible for estimating the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet our customers' needs.

Ensure Quality Control Standards

You will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet our high quality control standards, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Address Customer Complaints

You will be responsible for addressing any customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that our customers receive a positive experience.

Maintain Records and Prepare Reports

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as preparing reports to ensure that our management team is informed.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional service to our customers. You will have a strong background in food service management, with experience in supervising staff and ensuring that high-quality food and service are delivered.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, coffee shop
  • Tasks:
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
    • Establish work schedules
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, walking, physically demanding
