Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our team in Laval. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for various tasks related to financial record-keeping, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classify and process financial transactions, including checks, journals, and daily entries;
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies;
  • Develop and implement financial reporting systems to support business decision-making;
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain information and resolve financial discrepancies;
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management;
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports;
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in accounts payable;
  • DEP or DEC in accounting;
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis;
  • Bilingualism.
