Adecco Canada is Hiring a Safety Watch Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Watch Technician to join our team at a leading oil and gas company in Foster Creek, Alberta. As a Safety Watch Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe work environment by supporting the implementation and management of health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor safety compliance and identify potential hazards
  • Support training programs to educate employees on health and safety procedures
  • Assist in the investigation of incidents and near-misses
  • Operate and maintain breathing air equipment, gas detection systems, and other safety equipment
  • Collaborate with site Safety Equipment Technicians to ensure proper functioning of safety equipment
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • H2S Alive, Confined Space Monitor, Fall Protection, and First Aid certificates
  • Training certificate/experience in Gas Detection and Fire Extinguisher
  • At least two years of relevant Safety Watch/Technician experience in oil and gas
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
