Job Title: Truck Dispatcher

Lodex Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our vehicle operators and crews, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations to optimize dispatching decisions
  • Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems to minimize delays
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, taking into account factors such as traffic, weather, and road conditions
  • Respond to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance, prioritizing safety and emergency situations
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
