As a Childcare Support Specialist at Little Blessings Childcare Centre, you will play a vital role in fostering the growth and development of young children. Key Responsibilities
  • Support colleagues with housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
  • Design and execute childcare programs that enhance children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain and organize daycare equipment.
  • Engage children through storytelling and interactive activities.
  • Communicate children's progress and concerns to parents effectively.
  • Assist lead educators in implementing developmental programs.
  • Facilitate activities such as storytelling, singing, and excursions.
  • Help maintain accurate records as required.
  • Encourage creative expression through art, music, and physical activities.
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and hygiene.
  • Document observations and share insights with educators.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's development.
  • Understand and adhere to licensing regulations.
  • Establish behavior guidelines for children.
  • Collaborate with co-workers and community service providers.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Plan activities for school-age children during non-school hours.
