Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Mumbai Central is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and controlling costs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of culinary genres and menu planning, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent position, 30 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency required.
