About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Rachel Doucet. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and restrictions
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental well-being
  • Assist with medication management and administration, as required
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to our team
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Previous experience in a care-related field, an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
