Job Overview:
Langara College is seeking a skilled Lead Workday Application Developer to enhance our Human Capital Management (HCM) and Finance systems. This role is crucial in maintaining and advancing our cloud-based Workday ERP platform, ensuring seamless integration and security for our applications.

Key Responsibilities:
The Lead Workday Application Developer will:

  • Oversee the security configurations and integrations for Workday HCM and Finance.
  • Develop and maintain integrations, troubleshoot issues, and manage security groups.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and provide mentorship to staff and faculty.
  • Lead projects following software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • Support the transition to Workday Student products as part of our ongoing transformation.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science or a related field.
  • At least six years of relevant application development experience, with a minimum of three years focused on Workday HCM or Finance.
  • Proficiency in Workday technologies, including APIs, Studio, EIB, and advanced report writing.
  • Experience with enterprise integration architectures and security configurations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Work Schedule:
This position typically operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The hourly wage for this role is competitive, reflecting the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
