Position: Site Security Lead - Healthcare

Overview:
The Site Security Lead (SSL) plays a crucial role in overseeing the access control measures for healthcare facilities. This position involves guiding, training, and supporting on-site security personnel, leading incident management and investigations, and serving as the primary liaison with clients in the absence of the Assistant Site Lead (ASL). The SSL is responsible for ensuring that the ASL is informed of all site-related issues and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor Security Officers assigned to the site, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive orientation and training for new officers, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed within the designated training period.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of security personnel, providing coaching and support as needed.
  • Assist regular officers with their assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain departmental schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and addressing any last-minute staffing needs.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and follow up on incidents as required.
  • Ensure the timely completion of reports, verifying the accuracy of submitted Security Service Reports (SSR).
  • Perform regular site patrols, desk duties, and respond to all necessary calls while completing SSRs.
  • Compile monthly reports detailing site activities for client review.
  • Schedule and oversee regular safety drills and training sessions, maintaining accurate records of all safety and security incidents.
  • Provide leadership to the security team during after-hours situations as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Valid Security License
- Valid Driver's License (Class 5/7N)
- Proficient in computer skills with excellent verbal and written customer service abilities
- Physical capability to fulfill job responsibilities
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, preferably within the healthcare sector
