Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Prime General Contractors Inc. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces, as well as repairing cracks and holes. Additionally, they will advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, erect scaffolding, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and paint surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings
  • Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces. They will be required to work at various locations, including on-site customer service. The work will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work for 32 to 40 hours per week.
