Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at Delight Indian Bistro Ltd. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat for our customers. If you have a passion for working with meat and providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and prepare meat for sale, including cutting carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
  • Slice cooked meats
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
