As a Registered Nurse in our Level 3 designated Intensive Care Unit, you will provide care for critically-ill patients who often require advanced ventilatory and hemodynamic support. These complex cases demand the highest level of nursing expertise. GBGH fosters a secure environment, optimizing patient outcomes and utilizing available resources effectively to provide the best care for our patients and their families. You will collaborate with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, which includes dedicated professional practice support, allowing you to enhance and refine your advanced nursing skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification.
- Completion of a recognized Critical Care Course is preferred. We may consider sponsoring qualified candidates for the next Critical Care program.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of recent, direct Medical/Surgical acute care experience is required.
- Current ACLS certification is preferred, and must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with patients, physicians, staff, and visitors.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Willingness to engage in process improvement initiatives.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

WORKING HOURS
