Position Overview

As a Financial Coordinator, you will play a vital role within the store management team, assisting the Franchise Owner in delivering consistent and exceptional customer service. In this capacity, you will excel in cashier operations, lead a team of front-end staff, and ensure the smooth functioning of store administration and cash office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by executing all cashier duties and resolving customer issues in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Oversee the effective operation of the cash office, including pickups, deposits, and cash loss management.
  • Review reports to identify issues and develop appropriate solutions as necessary (including productivity reports, override reports, journal logs, and cash discrepancies).
  • Ensure the implementation of company-directed promotions and initiatives.
  • Support the front-end cashier team, acting as a subject matter expert on front-end processes and providing necessary training.
  • Supervise front-end cashiers to maintain efficient department operations, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, escalate complex issues to management, and contribute to the performance management process.
  • Execute store administrative tasks, including weekly accounting, invoice processing and reconciliation, bank statement management, and general ledger inquiries.
  • Manage payroll to guarantee timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Oversee benefit and pension administration.
  • Mitigate potential losses through effective management practices, including test orders and minimizing refunds/overrides.
  • Ensure compliance with loss prevention standards, manage daily cash office inventory, and maintain cashier tracking systems.
  • Perform any additional duties necessary to ensure courteous service, competitively priced products, and adherence to hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Experience in cashier and cash office operations is essential.
  • 1-3 years of management experience is preferred.
  • Strong technical expertise in all front-end cashier functions.
  • Problem-solving abilities, including handling customer complaints and inquiries effectively.
  • Skills in issue management, attention to detail, time management, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, information gathering, and team building to foster collaborative relationships.
  • Flexible availability, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with active listening capabilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, is advantageous.
