About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team at S&P Data. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient cloud-based applications using Salesforce technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom Salesforce applications using Lightning Web Components, Apex Controllers, and Flows.
  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable Apex code, ensuring high performance, scalability, and testability.
  • Create and analyze reports to provide clear and actionable insights for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Configure and design Experience sites to enhance day-to-day functionality for our end-users.
  • Prepare comprehensive unit tests using the Apex testing framework and conduct integration testing with Selenium web driver to ensure robust application functionality.
  • Collaborate in DevOps workflows and release cycles, emphasizing source control and deployment best practices.
  • Assist in QA and UAT.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in software development, preferably in Salesforce.
  • Degree in an applicable field, such as computer science or information technology, is an asset but not required if other requirements are met.
  • Expert Salesforce skills, including building Lightning Web Components, Apex Controllers, and Flows.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and Azure DevOps or similar sprint/release management solution.
  • Deep programming language knowledge and experience with web development.
  • Currently residing in, and legally able to work in Canada.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time.
  • Work Environment: Remote, with the possibility of on-site visits, if within 100km of office locations.
  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 CAD, based on experience, education, etc.
