Job Description:

The Common Law Section at the University of Ottawa is seeking a part-time professor who is a leader in the legal profession. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and significant experience in the field of law.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a course in law to students at the University of Ottawa
  • Develop and deliver course materials and assessments
  • Provide guidance and support to students
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of law

Requirements:

  • LL.B. or J.D. (or equivalent) degree
  • Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in the field of law
  • Ability to teach in a virtual, in-person, or hybrid format
