Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist project managers throughout the entire project lifecycle, from drafting proposals to the warranty phase.
  • Oversee and facilitate project advancement until contract closure, ensuring adherence to negotiated terms.
  • Evaluate client specifications, along with the terms and conditions of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and new agreements.
  • Initiate or authorize modifications or extensions to contracts.
  • Coordinate the assessment of contract documentation and the execution of tasks assigned to various departments, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and external legal advisors regarding contractual matters.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and governmental regulations by clients.
  • Maintain a comprehensive audit file for each contract, which includes the original agreement, any amendments, and payment schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in legal, business, or administrative disciplines.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in legal, technology, procurement, or contract management (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered).
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret contract provisions.
  • Capacity to meet stringent deadlines in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written French and English.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR or U.S. Government contracts is advantageous.
