Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and equipment.
- Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with a two-person team or convoy, maintaining professionalism in customer service and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
