Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at Crescent Oral Surgery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the cleaning and sterilization of instruments and equipment, as well as preparing surgical trays for procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Sort, clean, and process surgical instruments
  • Clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical kits for multiple procedures
  • Perform high-temperature steam sterilization and other forms of sterilization
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple instruments to assemble surgical trays for multiple procedures for surgeons
  • Perform daily biological tests for multiple processors; keep and maintain accurate logs
  • Inventory control of equipment and supplies to keep the clinic running effectively
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum completion of Medical Device Reprocessing certificate required
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical device reprocessing role required
  • Knowledge of instrument technology
  • Knowledge of high-steam sterilization
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently and understand verbal work orders
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Detail-oriented
  • Compliant with PPE protocols for sterilization
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective organization and communication skills
  • Punctual and good attendance
