Key Deliverables: Knowledge Transfer and Ongoing Support, Data Centre Operations, Project Upgrades, Equipment Decommissioning.
Core Responsibilities: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior personnel. Ensure adherence to data centre availability, reliability, efficiency, and uptime commitments. Collaborate with internal and external service providers to address issues and minimize disruptions to data centre functions. Oversee and coordinate tasks performed by service providers, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and mitigating negative impacts. Maintain and support IT hardware infrastructure within the data centres. Analyze and resolve incidents and issues related to hardware and server infrastructure. Document and implement changes to infrastructure as per established requests. Update incident and problem tracking systems, report on issues and changes, identify risks to infrastructure, and maintain the Configuration Management Database. Recommend and implement enhancements to server infrastructure, manage the decommissioning of hardware, including servers and storage devices, and coordinate disposal processes. Be available for on-call support as necessary. Possess a solid understanding of network architecture, security frameworks, server configurations, and deployment strategies. Conduct server installations and configurations. Evaluation Criteria:

Criteria: Proven experience in developing IT infrastructure. Proven experience collaborating with and supporting diverse technical teams. Proven experience with V-Centre, VMware, and managing virtual server environments. Proven experience in building and supporting various server platforms including Windows, Solaris, AIX, and Mainframe. Proven experience in network device installation, support, and configuration (routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers). Proven experience in implementing and supporting security frameworks. Proven experience in developing and supporting backup systems. Proven experience in installing, configuring, and supporting SAN and Tape Library systems. Proven experience in server installation and configuration, including operating system deployment for virtual servers. . Experience in Uptime Tier IV Data Centre - %
