Job Title: Automotive Body Painter

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Painter to join our team at Pritchard Autobody & Glass Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating repair costs, cleaning and maintaining workspaces, and applying primers and paints to vehicle surfaces. They will also be required to mix paint, blend colors, and operate soldering equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Apply primers and paints to vehicle surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Mix paint and blend colors to match original specifications
  • Operate soldering equipment to repair damaged areas
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and replace with new parts
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces to prepare for painting
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
