We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at Crosswood Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Estimation and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction and renovation projects.
- Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to building codes.
- Woodworking and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials for the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures.
- Supervision and Maintenance: Supervise other workers and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
- Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations to ensure a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
