Job Title: Budget Analyst

PartnerStaffing is seeking a highly skilled Budget Analyst to join our team on a contract basis for a leading client in the energy industry. Our client offers significant opportunities for long-term growth for the right individual.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Budget Analyst to assist in the development of monthly and quarterly budgets, ultimately leading to the development of long-term plans. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and consolidation reporting and modeling skills, with the ability to develop the big picture and concurrently be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of monthly and quarterly budgets, including the analysis of variance in financial results and forecasts.
  • Participate in the presentation of plans and reports to senior management by preparing all necessary materials.
  • Recommend and assist in the development of business initiatives, valuations, and models to align with regulatory, business, and accounting changes.
  • Use systems to maintain cost center hierarchies, organize business units, and perform allocations in SAP.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with financial modeling and budgets.
  • University-educated with CPA, CFA.
  • Strong analytical and consolidation reporting and modeling skills.
  • Strong ability to develop the big picture and concurrently be detail-oriented.
  • High-level experience with SAP, Oracle Hyperion, WDesk, and PCS, MS BI.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP.
  • Strong team player with above-average presentation skills.
  • Extremely focused individual who can work in a busy environment.
