About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer to join our team at Quorum Software. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating our enterprise security technologies to protect our business and customer data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security strategies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and remediate security gaps in our infrastructure and applications.
  • Design and implement security controls to validate and ensure compliance with policy, regulatory, and governance requirements.
  • Participate in blue/red team exercises to validate event parsing, alerting fidelity, incident veracity, and SOC response.
  • Lead and participate in incident response teams to make informed decisions regarding action plans.
  • Communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide guidance on security best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our security posture remains effective.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, including security controls and implementation.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including EDR, SASE, WAF, IAM, PAM, and SIEM.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
  • Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
  • Industry certifications, such as SANS, are a plus.
