Requirements

  • Registered 310S technician or 3rd/4th year apprentice
  • Possession of a valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in computer usage

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and services according to assigned work orders, utilizing hand tools and specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles and assess automotive systems using diagnostic tools
  • Review work orders and collaborate with service advisors
  • Offer repair and service recommendations to service advisors and discuss parts availability with the parts department
  • Use computer systems to log job entries and document repair progress and diagnostics
  • Stay informed on factory training, recall notices, service actions, and other manufacturer requirements

Compensation and Schedule

  • Flat rate hourly compensation, negotiable based on experience
  • Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm
  • Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • Occasional half-day Saturday shifts during spring/fall tire season (4-8 per year)
