Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the organization, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate financial, human, and material resources to implement organizational policies and programs, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring optimal structure and function.
  • Regional Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and achieving business goals.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring alignment with our mission and vision.
  • Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating necessary authority and creating optimal working conditions.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Newcomer and Refugee Support: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disasters, promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Indigenous Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, fostering partnerships and growth.
  • Visible Minority Support: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities, promoting a fair and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and success.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
