Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Food Preparation and Presentation
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that all food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that all financial and operational aspects of the business are accurately tracked.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Setting
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Supervision
- 5-10 people.
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Work under pressure.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
