We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Taj Contactors Ltd.
Job SummaryThe Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces, working closely with our construction team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Formwork and Materials: Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Concrete Placement: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
- Finishing Touches: Fill hollows, remove spots on freshly poured cement, and impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Compaction and Leveling: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Work at Heights: Work safely at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and instruct apprentices as needed.
- Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Surface Preparation: Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, team player, dependable, and able to work 40 hours per week.
Work Language: English. Work Term: Permanent.
