Logistics Coordinator

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to handle the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. As a Shipper-Receiver, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, inspecting goods, and ensuring timely delivery of merchandise to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Processing Goods: Inspect incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged items.
- Shipping and Handling: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, assemble containers and crates, and affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock shelves and display areas, and ensure that merchandise is properly stored and secured.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues related to merchandise or delivery.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve warehouse and retail service goals, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse or retail environment.
- Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, scanning system, dollies and hand trucks, pallet lifters, scanner, and steel-toed safety boots.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate must be physically demanding, able to handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
