Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Environmental Manager to lead our most complex transportation-related environmental planning projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with state and federal agencies, as well as provincial transportation ministries and transit agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the environmental aspects of proposals and projects, including schedule and estimate development.
- Support and facilitate delivery of environmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for other proposals and projects.
- Develop and support environmental staff across our district.
- Collaborate with transportation planning, engineering, urban design/landscape design, and other disciplines to develop and implement environmental strategies.
- Inform master scheduling with environmental and permitting requirements.
- Prepare scope, schedule, and budget for new projects and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with similar information.
- Develop documents that meet environmental approval and permitting requirements, including environmental management plans and submittals.
- Perform quality reviews of deliverables to ensure high-quality products are produced on time and budget.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff on technical and professional issues.
- 20 or more years of experience in progressively more complex environmental planning roles.
- Appropriate degrees in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or Engineering.
- Mastery of Microsoft 365 products to perform assigned tasks.
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
