As a Middleware Infrastructure Consultant at Laurentian Bank, your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Architecture team to contribute to innovative solutions and create design documentation
- Taking ownership of the Middleware platform specifications and design processes
- Providing expert technical guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business objectives
- Maintaining the overall quality of technical solutions while driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Implementing standards and best practices for Middleware Infrastructure
- Overseeing the execution of backup and Disaster Recovery operations for the Middleware Infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 10 years of IT experience in managing middleware infrastructure within the banking or financial services sector
- Proficiency with Middleware across various platforms such as AIX, Solaris, Linux, Windows, and Mainframe
- Strong communication skills to convey technical details effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset
