About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist at Econo Lumber. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Weighing and Measuring: Weigh materials and goods accurately to ensure quality control.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Pack and unpack goods efficiently and safely.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Transportation and Distribution: Transport and distribute materials and goods safely and efficiently.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections on company vehicles.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Team Player: Demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Punctuality: Maintain a high level of punctuality and reliability.
