About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Econo Lumber. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and dispatch inventory to meet customer demands.
  • Warehouse Operations: Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Supply Chain Management: Assist in the coordination of transportation and distribution of materials and goods.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the logistics team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
