GAVRO FREIGHT INTERNATIONAL INC is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other necessary measures.
  • Compliance and Certifications: Possess and maintain required certifications, such as Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, sitting.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, team player.
