Overview

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Tester to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional software quality. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough risk-based and context-driven manual software testing.
  • Align testing processes with client methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and BDD.
  • Utilize defect tracking and test case management systems to meticulously document test cases, log defects, and track test execution results.
  • Engage directly with project stakeholders, including business representatives and external vendors, to discuss defects and prioritize testing activities.
  • Extract testing requirements from functional and business specifications and convert them into actionable test cases.
  • Draft comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and informative test status reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, including expertise in test case design, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience with unity development framework is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working on both front-end and back-end web applications.
  • Intermediate experience in service level API testing using tools such as SoapUI, Postman, or Katalon is an advantage.
  • Over 3 years of experience with Test Management tools like ALM/QC, JIRA, or gTest.
  • ISTQB certification or similar testing certification is considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in testing complex IT solutions.
  • Experience in System Integration testing and UAT support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for proposing practical solutions to intricate challenges.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Able to foster collaborative relationships in a team-oriented environment.
