Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nova Scotia

Health Association Nova Scotia is partnering with the Department of Seniors and Long-term Care to provide recruitment support to continuing care employers in Nova Scotia. We have numerous opportunities across Central Zone for well-rounded professionals who are passionate about working with seniors and providing care to people of all ages in their homes and other community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with various personal care activities, including transfers and medication administration
  • Provide leadership and supervisory support to Continuing Care Attendants/Personal Care Workers
  • Participate in nighttime monitoring and assistance, as well as light housekeeping duties
  • Prepare blenderized feeds for clients and facilitate community inclusion activities

Requirements:

  • Current licensure (or eligibility) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
