About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Maxi. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of employees to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide efficient and courteous customer service, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrate leadership by managing employees, providing coaching and development opportunities, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Store Operations: Oversee store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays, to ensure a high-quality shopping experience for customers.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with company buyers to identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to drive business growth.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure work environment by implementing and enforcing safety and security protocols.
  • Succession Planning: Identify and develop future leaders within the organization to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of employees.
