About the Role

Catholic Independent Schools of the Diocese of Nelson (CISND) is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an After School Support Worker. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to the success of our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and nurturing environment for students during after school hours
  • Support the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a smooth transition from school to after school program
  • Assist with daily activities, homework help, and snacks
  • Develop and implement engaging activities and programs to promote student learning and well-being
Requirements
  • Commitment to Catholic Education and values
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • First Aid Training Certificate
