Position Overview

Clinical Informatics Educator
As part of Project UniPHI (Unified Patient Health Information), an enterprise initiative aimed at transforming clinical processes through digitization, you will play a crucial role in educating clinical staff and physicians on the Oracle system. This role requires a commitment to fostering proficiency and comfort among clinical staff in utilizing computer-based clinical applications. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively engage with a diverse range of clinical personnel. A solid understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows is essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills to present information clearly to groups. You will be customer-focused, with experience in customer support, and demonstrate the ability to work independently while maintaining strong organizational skills. Your problem-solving abilities will be key in navigating the dynamic environment of a large Digital Health team.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and curate content for training sessions focused on the Oracle system.

• Facilitate training sessions to educate staff on the Oracle system.

• Assess the competency of staff in using the Oracle system during educational sessions.

• Maintain accurate records of training session attendance and outcomes.

• Provide ongoing support to end users following the implementation of Oracle applications.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Bilingualism in French/English is preferred.

Qualifications


• An undergraduate degree in a clinical discipline, health science, or Information Management.

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in adult education.

• Proficiency in Cerner PowerChart Clinical Documentation, CPOE, and eMAR, or equivalent experience.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Cerner PowerChart is essential.

• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
