Job Title: Supply Planning Engineer

At 09 Irving Oil Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Planning team, you will play a critical role in making recommendations for refinery short and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use the Refinery Economic Model to evaluate refinery planning, feedstock, and blend stock opportunities.
  • Provide supporting information for weekly, monthly, annual, and turnaround operating plans.
  • Collaborate with crude and product traders to update market data used in the planning model.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities using the Linear Program model.
  • Perform strategic investment studies and implement necessary changes to support the strategic plan.
  • Manage the reconciliation between the LP-generated plan and validated refinery yields.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to the model and management process.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering concepts.
  • 3+ years of experience in refinery operations is a definite asset.
