Daily Responsibilities:

  • Direct the assigned shift in the regrading of produce to meet both internal and external customer standards.
  • Assist management and supervisors in distributing work to ensure seamless and effective operations during scheduled shifts.
  • Guarantee that all tasks and processes are planned and executed punctually.
  • Ensure that equipment and labor hours are utilized in line with company policies while upholding standards for service, quality, accuracy, efficiency, food safety, and health and safety.
  • Ensure timely and accurate organization of workflow for shipping and receiving functions within the Regrade department.
  • Manage inventory levels for products, supplies, and labor effectively.
  • Collaborate with the department management team to meet transfer requirements.
  • Verify that product quantities correspond with invoices and transfers.
  • Ensure the completion of product labeling.
  • Support the allocation and storage of products, considering temperature, timing, location, and specifications.
  • Maintain product quality throughout the packaging process and report any issues to department management.

Qualifications for Success at Burnac:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Physical ability to lift 50lbs

It is advantageous if candidates also have:

  • Experience in the Food and Beverage or manufacturing sectors.
