Job Title: Sommelier

We are seeking a skilled Sommelier to join our team at AD HOSPITALITY GROUP INC. as a key member of our wine service team.

Job Summary:

The Sommelier will be responsible for providing exceptional wine service to our guests, including wine selection, pairing, and presentation. This role requires a strong knowledge of wine, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wine Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of wine, including wine regions, grape varieties, and wine-making techniques.
  • Wine Service: Provide exceptional wine service to guests, including wine selection, pairing, and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware.
  • Sensory Evaluation: Perform sensory evaluation of wines to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the wine industry.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.
Work Environment:

The Sommelier will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional wine service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Language:

The primary language of work is English or French.Hours:

The Sommelier will work 35 hours per week.
