Job Summary

M & H Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Logistics and Scheduling: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and deliveries to meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, with a permanent work term and a 50-hour workweek. The work language is English.
