Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Management Information Systems

The Management Information Systems department at Université Laval is seeking a qualified candidate for a tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching MIS courses to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students, conducting research in management information systems, and supervising graduate and doctoral students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach MIS courses to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students
- Conduct research in management information systems and/or related subjects
- Supervise graduate and doctoral students and actively participate in continuing education activities
- Contribute to the life of the department, school, and university
- Develop ties with the academic and business communities
Selection Criteria:
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in business administration with a specialization in management information systems or equivalent
- Have an excellent research publication record or demonstrate a strong potential for future publications
- Demonstrate research interests compatible with those of the SIO department
- Demonstrate the ability to secure research funding
- Be able to teach in the areas put forward by the SIO department
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality teaching
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain ties with the academic and practitioner communities
- Be able to teach courses in French within a short period after the start date

- A detailed curriculum vitae specifying relevant work experiences, publications, and work-in-progress research projects
- A letter of intent explaining research experience, initiatives anticipated in connection with the position, and interests in an academic career and teaching
- Two reference letters
- A copy of relevant university diplomas obtained
