Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Business Information Systems

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Tenure-Track Faculty member in Management Information Systems at Université Laval. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the growth and development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in Management Information Systems to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students.
- Conduct research in Management Information Systems and related fields.
- Supervise graduate and doctoral students and participate in continuing education activities.
- Contribute to the life of the department, school, and university.
- Develop ties with the academic and business communities.
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management Information Systems or equivalent.
- Have an excellent research publication record or demonstrate a strong potential for future publications.
- Demonstrate research interests compatible with those of the Management Information Systems department.
- During a presentation to the department, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to transmit research results effectively and explain their scientific and practical implications.
- Demonstrate the ability to secure research funding.
- Be able to teach in the areas put forward by the Management Information Systems department.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality teaching.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain ties with the academic and practitioner communities.
- Be able to teach courses in French within a short period after the start date. Candidates who currently do not speak French are still encouraged to apply.
- Be familiar with other disciplines in Business Administration.
- Demonstrate the ability and interest to work in a multidisciplinary collaborative environment and to ensure an active presence on campus.
