About the Job

Dana Hospitality is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals to meet the needs of our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using different cooking methods, including deep-frying, pan-frying, broiling, baking, boiling, grilling, sautéing, and steaming.
  • Ensure that all meals are prepared within the allocated food budget and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to FOODSAFE standards and guidelines.
  • Operate commercial and non-commercial kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, steamers, grills, broilers, and other equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area.
  • Work a regular schedule, Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pm.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in the hospitality/food service industry.
  • Food Safety certification.
  • WHMIS test (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional and punctual attitude.
