We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Machinery Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency of our heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in diagnosing and fixing Caterpillar machinery issues.
  • Assist with workshop repairs and technical assessments as required.
  • Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET tools regularly for effective maintenance.
  • Generate technical documentation including service reports, warranty claims, and crossover notes.
  • Engage with clients, sales support, and team members to ensure seamless communication.
  • Work collaboratively with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Commitment to pursuing Heavy Equipment Technician Certification.
  • Fulfillment of Finning's educational and testing requirements.
  • Strong motivation and mechanical aptitude.
  • A safety-focused team player with exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
  • Completion of Finning S-Levels, Failure Analysis, Machine Electronic Controls, or Tier 4 training is advantageous.
  • Participation in Caterpillar product training courses is also beneficial.

Additional Information:

  • This position operates on a continuous shift schedule.
  • The ability to undergo fit testing and utilize a respirator is necessary.
