About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cross Dock Supervisor to join our team at Apex Motor Express Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop staff members in duties and policies, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching to support employee growth and development.
  • Work Scheduling and Coordination: Establish and manage work schedules, procedures, and workflows to meet business needs and deadlines.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Warehouse environment.
  • Supervision: More than 20 people.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation/Travel: Public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, analytical, proactive.
