About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at 16K General Contractor Inc. as a Construction Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to meet project specifications.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure a stable foundation.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to minimize disruptions.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heights and underground environments. You will be exposed to dust and other hazardous materials, and will be required to handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
