As an Infrastructure Systems Administrator at IPG Photonics, you will be instrumental in the upkeep and security of our worldwide infrastructure. We seek a proactive individual with a solid background in IT support, infrastructure upkeep, and problem resolution. If you possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a customer-centric approach, you will thrive in our vibrant IT department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Identify potential performance challenges and recommend enhancements
  • Deliver IT support for both local and remote locations, including after-hours assistance
  • Oversee system patching and vulnerability management initiatives
  • Resolve IT support tickets efficiently
  • Configure and deploy infrastructure systems
  • Manage maintenance of end-user workstations
  • Engage in incident response calls as required
  • Administer various IT services, including Active Directory and Citrix
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance for emerging issues
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure support
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Veeam, and related technologies
  • Familiarity with SSL Certificates and monitoring solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Self-driven with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Familiarity with Office 365 migration processes
  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of networking principles and merger/acquisition processes
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and Cloud technologies are advantageous
