About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Pastor at Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the spiritual lives of our youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Provide spiritual guidance and leadership to our youth, fostering a positive and inclusive environment that encourages spiritual growth and development.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our youth.
  • Community Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with our youth, their families, and our community partners, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with our team, youth, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information exchange.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties, such as record-keeping, reporting, and data entry, as required.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a related field or equivalent experience is an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in youth ministry or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and program development skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Personal Qualities: A strong passion for youth ministry, a positive attitude, and a commitment to our organization's values and mission.
